Inspiration
In the stillness of a midsummer night, within a wooden cabin nestled in the woods, oldman Mr. Zhang pours steaming hot water over aged Pu-erh tea leaves and dried orange peel. The delicate aromas intertwine, filling the air and enveloping him in a comforting embrace. He rolls his natural tobacco leaves with practiced hands, exhaling clouds of smoke as he throws away another of his creations into the bin—a capture of the tranquility of solitude and the frustration when pursuing artistry, highlighting the fine line between genius and madness.
Scent Profile
The fragrance opens with the rich, earthy notes of Pu-erh tea, complemented by the vibrant freshness of bergamot and a subtle aquatic element. This combination evokes the soothing atmosphere of the cabin and the tranquility of nature surrounding it. As the scent develops, warm vetiver and cedarwood emerge, further enhancing the image of wooden surroundings. These notes provide a grounding presence, just like the cabin. Finally, the base notes of vetiver and sandalwood create a deep, comforting finish that lingers. This warmth mirrors the tranquility of those midsummer nights spent in reflection and creativity, inviting a sense of calm and introspection.
